🛒 Ingredients (2 Servings)
- 200g (7 oz) spaghetti
- 250g (9 oz) shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Salt & black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions
Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the spaghetti until al dente.
Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
Step 2
Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook shrimp for about 1½–2 minutes per side until pink.
Remove from pan.
Step 3
Lower the heat.
Add butter and garlic.
Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add chili flakes if desired.
Step 4
Return shrimp to the skillet.
Add cooked pasta.
Pour in a splash of reserved pasta water.
Mix well.
Add lemon juice.
Step 5
Top with parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately.
